Amazon Prime Day 2022 is less than 24 hours away (Tuesday, July 12 and Wednesday, July 13). Being a lover of deals and steals myself, I wanted to share my nutritionist-approved Amazon Prime Day sales.  Whether you’re a parent, a grandparent, a teacher, a lover of cooking, a kitchen gadget guru, or striving to be more health-conscious, you can score big on Prime Day.

Over the years I’ve grabbed some of my favourite kitchen tools on Amazon (especially on Prime Day).  Many deals are available to all shoppers, but you will likely need a Prime membership to access most of the sales. If you’re not a member, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial.

You can see the full list here with all of my Amazon faves.

Note: this is only set up for the US but many of the same deals are available in Canada and other regions.

Soda Stream

We’ve managed to keep sugary sodas out of our home and out of our children’s hands for 9 years. The fact that they love bubbly water from the Soda Stream helps fill that void. It’s also my secret tool when I have sugar cravings after dinner.  The carbonation magically cuts through the cravings and keeps me from needlessly snacking.

Cuisinart Food Processor

My food processor gets used regularly for making veggie and fruit packed muffins, cookies, or other kid-friendly treats.  Including my healthy fruit roll ups.  At this price, it’s a no brainer (refurbished brands work just as well).

CleverMade Foldable Containers

These collapsible containers are one of the few purchases my husband and I agree on (kidding not kidding)!  I keep 3 of them in the back of my car for Costco shopping, impromptu trips to the grocery store, lugging linens and toys on weekend vacations, or just transporting odds and ends.  Love that they fold up easily and tuck away into closets and trunks.

Picasso Tiles

These magnetic toy tiles have nothing to do with food, but they have everything to do with parenting peace of mind.  These tiles provide hours of fun and creativity for the kids. Which means I can cook, clean, work from home without interruption when we bring out the bin.  We also bring them to the cottage, camping and to visit family and friends (so we can carry on a conversation without interruption). You get it right?

Vitamix Low Profile Blender

We have had ours for a decade and use it virtually every day.  And not just smoothies!  We are talking lattes, blender muffins, pancakes, hummus, soups, avocado pudding, mango “nice” cream, smoothie bowls, and more. Best. Investment. Ever.  Bonus: the kids love using it and trying their creations.

Zulay Milk Frother

My milk frother is relatively new and I’m kicking myself for not grabbing it sooner.  It takes my matcha, turmeric, and coffee lattes up a notch with smooth nut milk froth on top.  And the girls love having peppermint and camomile tea with me at night (with frothed almond milk).  Save yourself $5 a latte at Starbucks and get this instead 🙂

Grass-Fed Meat Snacks

Canadian alternative

Calling any beef-jerky lovers. I’m pretty picky about my meat choices (i.e. it must be grass-fed and from ethically farmed sources). That’s why I recommend a brand like Krave.  There are no artificial ingredients, it’s gluten-free, has 9g of protein, and no Nitrates or nitrites.  It’s great for road trips, hikes, park play dates or just a quick office snack.  Pair it with some fruit or veggies and you’ve got yourself a balanced snack.

Levoit Air Purifier

After two years of COVID I’m all for clean and purified air.  Ease sneezing, congestion, and other allergy symptoms caused by airborne contaminants. Removes 99.97% of dust, smoke, mold, and pollen.

Kid’s Farmers Market Basket

You know that food play is something I promote.  Well now you can do it without the mess.  With this set of play food your kids can chop it up (fasteners hold the play food together) and pretend play (browsing the market, meals to prepare).  Perfect for toddlers.

CamelBak Kids Water Bottles

My kids lose their water bottles more than I’d like to admit.  Whenever I see a stainless steel (vs plastic) bottle on sale I grab it.  We keep bottles in the car, in their school bag, at grandma and grandpas, etc.

CamelBak Adult Water Bottle

Speaking of water bottles, I also use them all the time and have them everywhere which makes it easier to get my daily quota of water.  They get kicked and tossed around so I love a brand that can hold up to the abuse.

Hope you find a few goodies for your kitchen and your home during Amazon Prime Days!
