What makes this retreat different?

It’s not just one thing. Most retreats are a yoga weekend or a spa day. This is expert-led workshops, honest conversations, breathwork, movement, gourmet meals and community all in one place.

The timing is intentional. Early June, after the school year, so you can step into summer feeling like yourself.

RETREAT LOCATION

The Vibrant Retreat will be held at Bloom Holistic Retreat Centre — a hidden gem surrounded by woods and water, designed to make you feel grounded and taken care of. Bloom is located 20 minutes north of Kingston on Lake Loughborough, approximately 3 hours from Toronto and 2 hours from Ottawa. Address: 1425 Rutledge Road (in the town of Perth Road).

Who is this retreat for?

If you are a mom in any sense of the word, this is for you.  Big kids, little kids, college kids, married kids, [insert other people you nurture and care for] you belong here. 

My partner/family isn't fully on board. What do I say?
  • We’ve got you. Email us and we’ll send you a note to share with your partner that explains what the retreat involves and why it matters.
Can I bring a colleague or friend?

Absolutely. Some guests will come solo ready to meet like-minded women. Others will come with friends, sisters, or your own mother!   If you bring a guest, you’re welcome to share a suite or book your own private rooms.  Save an additional $50 if you bring someone along!

If I book solo, will I be required to share with someone?

Up to you!  You can choose a shared suite with another guest (a cozy room with two single beds and a private ensuite) or opt for more privacy by booking a private room (King or Queen bed with your own ensuite). It’s your retreat — pick what makes you feel most comfortable.

I've never done a retreat before. What can I expect?

You’re not alone — many women come to this retreat as first-timers. It’s totally normal to feel unsure about what to expect.  But I promise you this – it won’t be your last. Everything is optional, and we create a safe, supportive space. Just come as you are, and let yourself exhale.

After 3 days, you’ll walk (or float!) out feeling lighter.

What if the workout classes are too hard/easy?
    • This retreat includes at least 3  Yoga classes. Whether you’re a first timer, or a guru, all classes are designed to accommodate every level. Our fabulous instructor will offer alternative movements make sure you can do the exercises with confidence. If yoga is not your thing, no problem!  This is your opportunity to relax, go for a walk, etc.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
  • No problem! All meals are plant-based, but we are happy to accommodate any dietary preferences or restrictions. Please let us know in advance, and we’ll ensure you’re well taken care of. 
Why is there so much 'free time' on the agenda?
  • You’re right!  We’ve intentionally structured in time for you to let the insights and takeaways from the workshops simmer.  Because when do you ever have ‘free time’ for reflection in the daily hustle. Phones are buzzing, meetings and work commitments fill your day. Plus you might be taking care of kids or the elders.  But science shows that stillness is key to implementing change. It’s tough to experience real breakthroughs if you’re always on the go. This retreat is designed to get you off the hamster wheel, giving your brain the rest it needs to spark true clarity and new ideas.
